Culverstone D.T.C.  train on Wednesday evenings at Culverstone Community Centre, Whitepost Lane, Culverstone Kent DA13 0TN.


Classes start at   5.45-  6.30pm for Puppies & New Dogs further information Contact e-mail [email protected]                                            

                            6.30 - 7.30pm for  Handlers & Dogs wanting to learn more & possibly to compete

                            7.30 - 8.30pm for  Handlers & Dogs competeing Pre-Beg & Beg in Obedience

                            8.30 - 10pm for Handlers & Dogs working Novice to "C" in Obedience

We welcome all dog owners to join the club & to take the puppy assessment followed by their Bronze Good Citizen to Gold Good Citizen Award 

 Test. For those that want to progress on we hold competitions within the classes as well as friendly matches against other clubs.

The Puppy/New Dogs class is for all newcomers to the club and costs £38 for the first 8 weeks & includes membership to the club. We also like you to watch for one week to both see what we do & to let your dog get used to the hall

Other classes are an initial £10 club membership & then £16 per dog paid monthly in advance or £24 for two dogs with the same handler. Alternatively members may pay £5 per dog each time they train or £7 for two dogs

Culverstone D.T.C is a well known Kennel Club Registered training club open to all breeds of dog and is respected for successful competitive obedience up to Championship level. Our instructors are successful competitors and some are also judges.

Puppies and inexperienced dogs are accepted once they have had their innoculations and should arrive at 5.40pm for their 5.45pm class. This class runs till 6.30pm and is designed to encourage pet dogs & their owners to both socialise & train. In this class we encourage puppies under 1 yr of age to pass the Kennel Club Puppy Assessment & older dogs to pass the Kennel Club Good Citizens Bronze Test. All training is reward based (Puppies are not allowed to run all together off lead)

 

The club runs internal competitions and progress tests, Inter Club matches,  Capped open Shows in November & February

and a 2-day Open Show in May. We organise a Summer Supper for members & their partners & at Xmas we hold a doggy party.
